Good morning Ladies!
I would like to thank you Sacha for our teambuilding on Saturday. In fact, teambuilding is not a good connotation for this experience, I think enlightenment is better.
In our case, it made us one – all of us realise we are different and yet the same. Most of the girls said it was a relief to express themselves in a ‘safe’ environment and realised that personal feelings and issues impact on how we relate to one another in the office environment. For me, it was a win. I think the fact that we went to the trouble to arrange the outing with a view to solving some of our problems has earned me a few kudos – thank you.
For me personally, it was a pleasure to immerse myself in all the things I believe are missing in my busy life, reconnecting with mother earth, recognising myself as a great woman, mother, daughter, wife, manager – one needs to be reminded occasionally that we are doing a good job at all those things albeit a little overwhelming at times. Julia and I went to the beach together on Sunday and surfed for hours, it was important to take the time to reconnect with myself and those who are most important in my life. Missing my hubby terribly, he gets home tomorrow and will be up for the 15 minute yoga and vocal breathing sessions we are now doing every evening I think!!!
